Appointment was at 10am to install two new tires. It is noon and my daughter is still waiting. When I called I was told that there would be no type of reimbursement for the inconvenience. Two hours and still not ready! Rediculous... I will be sure to tell those I know to go elsewhere.
Arrived at opening (7:00am). The doors were still closed and they did not open until 7:08. Went in and the tech made sure I heard him tell the cashier they wouldn’t take walk-ins. After 5 mins of waiting on her to check me in, she told me they wouldn’t take me as a walk-in because one tech was late and they “don’t like to take walk-ins with only one tech, but they would take appointments.” I was the only car there. I can't believe I'm saying this, but Walmart is just as good, if not better, than Discount Tire! There was no wait, and their deals are just as good as Discount. The service is far superior to Discount in Greenville. They have my business!
Bought my tires from Walmart in Washington, N.C. Paid for lifetime balance and road hazard, including flats. Discovered a screw in one of my tires, called over there to tell them I was bringing my car in to fix a flat. Talked to a couple of non interested associates that told me they were short handed and I would have to make an appointment to bring it in. No appointments available today.
