My most recent service at the Walmart Auto Care Center in Destin, Florida was a remarkably (and until this point uncharacteristically) negative experience. I bought two tire as well as the installation service and scheduled the installation at the Destin Walmart Auto Care Center, all through walmart.com site. The website sent me notifications that my order had arrived AND that it was delayed so my appointment for installation was cancelled. Was told I could get a walk in. Show up by 4pm. Waited almost 10 min and get told they are fully booked and it works be a few hours until they could get to me. I left. Plus it smelled like weed in there. Do Better.
I had an appointment for a simple oil change, I arrived before my appointment and still waited FOUR HOURS. First, they forgot my car, and did my service on someone’s car, then they couldn’t find my keys. The level of disorganization and disrespect for customers’ time is insane!!!!! If you value your time, avoid this place.
I got to Walmart at 6:45 AM, I was the third car there, I’ve been going there for 15 years and someone always came out to put us in the system. Nobody came out, so people came in after me, went into the store and got there in front of me. All I needed was to get a tire leak checked, after waiting an hour and a half. I just decided to leave. No apologies, nothing. Needless to say, I will never go back here again and it’s 15 miles from my house. Walmart Tire sucks.
