Came in at 7:15am after getting off work to get tires installed and was told it would take about an hour. It’s now past 10am and my car still isn’t done. That’s over three hours for a one-hour job. Completely unacceptable and extremely frustrating after working all night. If you can’t meet your own time estimates, don’t give them.
took my car in to get an oil change, mind you i’m completely capable of doing this myself. always have, and after here, always will. but given the cold snowy weather i’ve been avoiding doing it. so i finally caved and said why not. not busy at all. was told it would take an hour because they had two more oil changes to do before mine. i have seen at least 5 mechanics sitting here writing this review, and they have what looks like two bays when you pull in. and you’re telling me it takes an hour? it takes me 15 minutes to com... read more
Twice in two weeks this Walmart failed to meet their end of our appointment. The first time they let me order tires they rushed to put on my vehicle. The second time a week later they didn’t have the tires needed for my appointment, had to cancel both times and have over $1,000 held up in slow reimbursement for the purchase. I went to Shaffners instead and they had my tires changed with the tires I actually wanted in less than an hour.
I’ve always appreciated the service at LP Autocenter until an experience with one particular manager changed my opinion completely. Last December, while traveling to get married, I stopped at Walmart to have a tire replaced after it blew out on the road. The manager told me it would take about two hours (it was about 1pm?). Very incompetent. Tried to get 2 tires mounted and they gave me 4 different excuses on why they were done working for the day. 2 hours before they close, with 1 car being worked on.
