GREAT selection This place has a GREAT selection! I am amazed and impressed. I love the mix of high and low priced wines and the hole-in-the-wall feel of the store. Great wrapping services, quick check out, very friendly staff -- and, of course, GREAT wines. They even have a selection of high quality and exotic liquors. Also; sake!
I am appalled by this company. Customer service is non existent . I ordered an extremely nice bottle of champagne for my son on December 18th and paid $28 for a 3 day delivery. . It had not been delivered by the 23rd. My son rang and he was promised a next day delivery for a further $25 . Still no champagne 10 days after ordering. No response to any emails. My advice never use this company..
Wally's Wines and Spirits runs a scam operation on the internet. It takes your money, then disappears. The company does not respond to emails or phone calls. The only way to get a refund is through a guaranteed credit card. At least one of their sites is listed as being out of business. But the company continues to send out elaborate emails to lure more potential victims. I can understand why the company is not part of BBB, which usually attracts legitimate businesses. To start I order lots of wine online. I ordered 6 bottles of wine they had in stock on website and cc was charged for the 6 bottles. no email confirmation and finally three days shipping notice of only two bottles and the ones I really wanted were no longer available even though showed was in my order. staff simply said was never in stock in first place even though website confirmed before. Horrible! My shipment was lost, every time I tried to find out what happened I would talk with someone who promised to call me back. Didn't get any of the calls back. Then when a manager finally concluded the lost shipment should be replaced, my credit card was billed a second time for the replacement shipment. My previous experience with Wally's was fine, but they really screwed it up this last time! No more for me... I'll have to find a good local wine store. Dana in Colorado
Wally's Wines - Worst Service - Avoid ! – I ordered an expensive birthday gift to be shipped same-day locally to 90025. When I got the order confirmation I learnt that i have been charged an expensive $35 for delivery - however the agent neglected to mention this. The order was never delivered. I have had to contact my credit card issuer to repudiate the transaction. Worst buy and delivery service i have ever experienced.

Outstanding selection and friendly service – My husband and I have been shopping at Wally's for years. They have such amazing selection of wine. From resonably priced everyday wines to rare and hard to find cult wines. Their staff is so friendly and knowledgeable, I usually go with the staff's recommendations for gifts and dinner parties; now my friends think that I really know wine. Wally's Wine and Spirits Potential Fraud and Scam – I placed an order with this company on line and it was accepted. Few days later I was contacted via email saying that the shipping address (Garden Grove, CA) was not in California (?) and that I would have to provde a copy of my drivers license and debit card and sign their release form, which says that they are not held accountable for anything, even confiscation by shipper....WTF????
