I have been meaning to stop in forever, and last night after watching the Great Bake off show on TV, I finally went to Wally's. The Kronut is to die for and could have been a winner on the t.v. show! Flaky light crust, wonderful raspberry filling...mmm.
The best pastries in the whole world! I grew up eating these!
Having never had a crownut before, I'm now a convert. I'll be searching for these when I get back home as I was visiting a friend.
We had a bit of a snafu with the ordering so our order wasn't ready when we arrived. However, Chef Manfred said "can give me 15 minutes?" and prepared our perfect assortment of mini desserts for a bridal shower on the spot: pink champagne petit fours, mini white cake rounds dipped in white icing, these delightfully rich little chocolate cakes, rum cakes coated in sprinkles... The Kronuts are amazing! Wally's did our wedding cake including personalized petit fours this weekend. Everything turned out better than I could imagine.

This place has been somewhere I try to stop as an adult after hearing about it growing up. The pastries are out of this world and the one cake I've had from them was amazing. I just begged my parents to bring me home a petit four to OKC after their recent trip!
Fond memories of Wally's for as long as I can remember. Special pastries and cakes for special occasions but now there's something new! Cronuts, Kronuts, Crodos!! However you want to spell it or whatever you want to call them, Wally's now has them! Might I suggest the cinnamon & sugar, melt in your mouth, pastries of perfection that won't disappoint. Pre-order on Facebook during their renovation and you'll be in-and-out in no time!
