I didn’t have time to do this job myself. He was slow with work, so we helped each other out by me giving him the job and giving his guys something to do. I know the guy on a personal level. so I didn’t go and inspect the job when it was completed. I had bought all material for the job. 6 month later I get a phone call from customer saying his renters told him the fence was coming apart. At first they seemed like a great company. they came and did my fence while I was at work. So when I got home it was to dark to see anything. The next morning I went out and really looked at it and the whole gate part of the fence was wrong. I don't do fences but I knew that it was wrong. The gate would not close the gate latch was put on upside-down, and the brackets where not even screwed into the 2x4 part of the fence and the metal pole and they where also cut to where the screws are on the gate part and not the fence.
