Food is usually either excellent or horrible, never in between.... Had a group of 18-20 ready to see our favorite band that has been performing the 2nd Sunday of every month TWICE prepared to go there, to find out it was cancelled. Super disappointed...
We drove from Olean last night to try the fish fry. We were not disappointed, it was delicious! We were told there was a 45 minute wait, but we were seated in about 20 minutes. We waited a little while for our meal but it was worth the wait and we'll probably make the trip again! The waitress was very busy but also friendly and took good care of us!
Last night my son and I met my mom and sister there for dinner. I have not been there in years and it never disappoints. We were seated right away and the service was awesome. Kudos to Kevin Wilson for the food and it all was fantastic. We will be back soon.
As I'm writing this, I am currently sitting in the large seating area in the back of the restaurant, enjoying the chilly air. It's been a little over an hour since we (table of 3) ordered our food and it has yet to arrive, so we don't know how it is yet. Could be okay. Could be terrible. Honestly, I can't say. I do know, however, that it took about 20 minutes after sitting down before someone came by to take our drink order. Nobody has come by to ask about refilling said drinks. Considering how awesome the fish fry was rated at this place, I was not concerned about the wait. The staff were friendly and accommodating, the food was delicious, I definitely recommend this place.
Well they were voted best fish fry in WNY...fish fry and crab cakes were good...I made reservations luckily because the place was mobbed I suggest ordering an appetizer because it took over an hour to get our meal and worth the wait I was surprised it didn’t take longer given the place was filled to capacity...server was very pleasant...definitely will be back to try their menu out...highly recommend and reasonably priced
