Went into Wallace Bishop Cairns Central today to complete an exchange after the jewellery purchased for my wedding broke on the second time it was worn (these were not cheap earrings). This transaction went well however I am still concerned about the quality and am worried about wearing them and them breaking once again. I recently visited this lovely jewellery shop again after more than 10 years, and I was so touched by the experience. Many years ago, I had my ring repaired here and remembered the great service, so I decided to come back to have my diamond ring checked. The staff were incredibly kind and professional—they carefully inspected my ring and the setting of the diamond, and assured me that everything was still in great condition. I was looking in this shop for a watch, but the salesman assumed (incorrectly) that I couldn't afford a good Citizen watch after asking whether they had anything in the $200 to $300 range. I was trying to find a good bargain, but he only had full retail prices. His manner was arrogant and flippant. I came back to Melbourne and picked up an Eco-Drive Citizen watch for $230 (normally $450). I go to Cairns quite often, but I won't go back to that shop.
Both Christina & Stephanie were fabulous with their service. They were polite and very helpful. They were fabulous 😊
