PSA: NEVER, I repeat NEVER take your dog to Walkertown Vet to be groomed. Gracie-Anna, our Pom-Chi puppy went for her very first grooming appointment today and they "accidentally" cut her. She was cut so deep that it required four stitches. I'm trying my best not to catch a charge, but I don't play about my babies!!!😡👿 Then the Dr had the nerve to say, "there's no charge for today's visit, nor the fee repair the wound."What? Terrible care given by Dr Fox for my dog which ultimately led to his death days later at Carolina Vet Specialists! My dog had acute severe Pancreatitis and I was not contacted by Dr Fox as he was dying! He said he tried to contact me but he never did !!! CVS took him after days of poor care from this office but he was in such poor shape he had to be put down days later. Thousands of dollars spent to try to save him but he was too far gone ! We brought our dog there since day one. Every time we've needed something done they've come through. It's been 14 years but even today, being his last day, Dr Fox took care of him with the utmost professionalism. Thanks Dr Fox.
Our puppy, Hope, always has the best experiences at Walkertown Veterinary Hospital. The staff is friendly and treats Hope like family.
We took our beloved Redgie there when all of a sudden he quite eating and lost weight. He was diagnosed with cancer and at 13 we decided to keep him comfortable and spend as many days we could with him at home. In the end we only had about 3 weeks with him and finally had to make the decision to let him cross over the rainbow bridge. Dr. Ferguson and the staff made our last few minutes very easy to say good bye to our fur baby. They are very compassionate and loving. Would recommend them 100%.
