All they want is money. Took my sick dog to them and they wouldn’t see him. Said he needed to have some shots. Tell me what’s wrong with my 13 year old dog and then we will talk about shots. I’m not giving him all them shots if he is dying.
Vet services are excellent however I took my cat to be groomed, was quoted $45. When we checked in over the phone, I agreed to have his rabies updated. I was never informed that they’d add an office exam fee to the rabies shot and my bill ended up being over $100. And of course, when the office manager got in the phone she said “you pay that anywhere” and got rather condescending. I had no choice but to pay as they had my cat, but I won’t be back. Walkertown Veterinary Hospital has some of the most dedicated and caring staff. Our new cat is very skittish and feisty with new people and they did all they could to get her the care she needed, even when she was acting like a little monster.
I left a review in 2017 and just needed to leave another today. My husband and I were faced with a difficult situation due to a misdiagnosis from another vet. The wonderful staff here helped us navigate our options, but unfortunately the correct diagnosis came too late for our sweet boy. Due to the covid-19 situation we were told that we could not come in when it was time to let him go, which was devastating because this dog has been repeatedly abandoned and let down. This place is awesome.The sweet Lady Lydia has took in a 1 week old kitty Miss.Glory that her mom had left her under my carport.She is bottle feeding it till old enough till we can give it a forever loving home.It takes a special kind of love to do this to feed every 2 hours.We love her and this place is taking very good care of her💞💞💞
Our pets , Quid jrt and Inez the one eye cat love to go to Walkertown vet . They go crazy when the crates come out . Great service and people .
Walkertown Vet Hospital is the ONLY place I take my cats for their care. The staff are amazing— so courteous, so helpful, so professional, so caring. It is a delight to be a client if this practice. The veterinarians are wonderful. Overall the quality and cost of care cannot be beat. I utilize this facility for pet care as well as boarding.
Dr. Fox is a great doctor and compassionate with animals. He lets you know what your best options are for your pet and provides excellent care. He genuinely cares!
