I’ll start here i love Subaru , i really enjoy my 2019 wrx also ! However I find the service and lack or professionalism displayed by walker Subaru and the team they have to be appalling . I was given a run around when i decided to use my own financing rather than the financing they can provide . Not for security. It’s because they could not match or beat my financing in any way . As a young customer, the level of respect I felt walking in was less than desirable. Once the staff found out I was paying cash the mood seemed to change for some reason. Once we had a vehicle picked out and we were going over specifics, I was asked “what are my necessities for the car?? I emailed Walker Subaru to see about having a remote start installed on my car. I had searched online for the lowest price. Found Walkers was about $150 cheaper than anyone else. I was told this was a glitch on their website and that the service manager instructed the associate that they wont honor the price on their website. I even emailed them a pic of the prices so they didnt think I was mistaken. The price is STILL online and hasnt been changed. Both Subarus ive dealt with had the horrible service centers. Just walked in to test drive an Ascent and we were denied. The sales guy was apologetic but his superior acted like we were idiots for wanting a test drive! His attitude was we should build one online, have it delivered and then test drive it! I for one do not have that kind of time or energy. We will find some where else to test drive and buy an Ascent. Boo to you on Halloween.
The sales staff particularly Andreas and sales manager Jan bent over backwards to make our car buying experience an easy and peaceful one. They exceeded our expectations. They showed us features benefits and comparisons we are most pleased with the purchase of our two Mazdas a 6 and a CX9.
My son and I made an appointment for a test drive on a vehicle with this dealership two days in advance. After an hour drive to get to the appointment, we went in and asked for Jason, the person we were instructed to meet with for the test drive. Told him we were there for the test drive. He informed us that the only vehicle available to test drive was having options installed today. Manipulation and Lies I have never experienced such manipulative tactics as when I went to purchase a used car at Walker's Renton Subaru. The car I went to try was a used Mazda. When I got there it didn't start, not to worry, they quickly rushed me off to other cars in their inventory. It almost felt like the Mazda was there as an underpriced gimmick to get me onto the lot.
