This man is an absolute saint and I feel so lucky to have found him on ZocDoc. I had my first session with him today, absolute professional, extremely thoughtful questions, and authentic empathy for everything I was feeling. I highly recommend Dr. Walker to all folks - please do not let the negative reviews regarding the administrative system deter you from scheduling an appointment with him. I have found Dr. Walker to be easy to work with, straightforward, friendly, and willing to help. Multiple very positive experiences with him.
My husband was to have an appointment with Dr. Walker and with no notice other than a voicemail asking to be called back an hour before the appointment the office was locked up and Dr. Walker no showed. This was a intro appointment and is quite possibly the worst thing a psychiatrist could do to a new patient, someone looking for help. Shame on Dr. Walker.
Incredibly poor bedside manner. Told me he was "frustrated with me" and could provide me no assistance. Accused me of lying about another prescription I had already discussed with him, cancelled the only thing he could help me with, which was a prescription (without telling me!), hung up on me when I called to talk to him about it. I do not recommend ANYONE see this individual. He provided ZERO assistance to me and in fact made things worse.
