PLEASE, THE USE FOR ANIMALS FOR THE ENTERTAINMENT IS CRUEL!!!! HELP US TO LEAVE THE CRUELTY IN THE PAST!!!! WE DON´T NEED ANIMALS FOR ANYTHING. I THINK IT IS TIME TO CHANGE, WE CAN NOT FOLLOW DOING THE SAME, AND MAKING THE SAME MISTAKES. CRUELTY WITH ANIMALS IS UNFORGIVABLE!!!!!
Any Fair that promotes animal cruelty is teaching our children the wrong message about compassion
Using animals as a form of entertainment is cruel and condones torture. It is well documented that yes, torture, is the means to make an animal bend to the will of his or her trainer to perform unnatural acts. The bull hook use on elephants is an example of what is to come, if the elephant does not obey and perform. What does this teach children? That abuse is acceptable? Walker County Fair Association, do the right thing and do NOT allow Carson & Barnes to perform.
It is a shame that you are hosting Carson & Barnes Circus which has a documented history of animal abuse, including forcing elephants to perform tricks by beating them and shocking them. It is sick to consider this "entertainment," and by hosting this circus you are directly contributing to this animal cruelty.
