I had a very disappointing experience at the Walgreens pharmacy. I walked up to the consultation window to drop off a prescription because no one was waiting there, while there was a line at the prescription pick-up window. As soon as I set the prescription down and asked to have it filled, the young female pharmacy technician rudely pushed it back toward me and told me to “get in line.” I asked her to please fill it when she could in which she replied, “I will just leave it on the counter until you get in line”. My experience with Walgreens Pharmacy has been average overall. The pharmacy staff is generally professional and works hard, especially during busy hours, and I appreciate that prescriptions are usually filled accurately. The location is convenient, and I’ve had some employees who were very kind and helpful when answering questions about medications and insurance. Sitting in this drive-thru for 20 minutes not moving hello? Found out it was an angry older woman who refused to leave the drive-thru. They should have called the police. She was holding the drive-thru hostage. She really did need medical attention.
