always long lines at pharmacy. receive an email medication is ready for pick up. get there and it's not. then they are out of the medication or don't have the full amount. prescription had been called in for weeks before email received it was ready. husband gets there to pick it up and they don't have it ready and only 5 pills available. I am stage 4 colon cancer and need the prescription called in for nausea from the chemo.
Management needs to properly staff the Pharmacy. They are always understaffed. They were very busy on Monday and the wait was insane so I gave the tech my presciption and told her i would pick it up the next day. I gave them. 24 full hours to fill it but when I came back it was not ready. I was told it was printed & would only take a few minutes. while I was waiting I received a txt from Walgreens telling me they were out of stock.
Don't send your prescription here unless you have a day or two to wait for it. Also go ahead and plan an evening in line just to pick it up and also they won't have it so you'll have to try another location
I called to check on a prescription status and was on hold for 12 mins. Then, the phone was answered and hung up. How do I know it was answered? I could, for a brief moment, hear store noise I. the background. Is my call not important, Walgreens? Couldn't you have asked me to hold for just a moment longer rather than just hanging up? That is a great way to make customers feel devalued.
I have been trading at Walgreens since they opened on South Cumberland. My pharmacy experience has always been pleasant but recently I went to get a prescription refilled and an employee named Michael suggested I join the prescription savings program. He explained it to me and got me signed up. Since then , I am excited to see my savings each time I get a refill ! I appreciate him taking the time to explain it and for being kind and caring each and every time I stop in . Thanks Walgreens!!!!
Call RX in at noon, at 5:30 I'm told 10 more minutes. Now its 6:15 and its still 20 more minutes!!!!
