Manager needs to show some common sense when it comes to the elderly. Quit being a jerk and get a backbone! Terrible manager!
My heart is very heavy tonight. I went to Walgreens to pick up my prescription, in line in front of me was a very elderly woman that was on oxygen. She was buying six cans of food and a couple other small items. Nothing big and nothing she was trying to hoard. She stated that this was her weekly meals. The Walgreens cashier told her she is only allowed to buy four cans of food. They made her put back two of her weekly items. I told the cashier I would like to purchase these items for her. Denying and elderly woman food is elderly abuse plain and simple will be looking to see if this is a prvt or corp store
They limit the elderly who are on oxygen!!!! Management here sucks when they are going home to their families and have plenty!! One tiny little elderly lady wanted to buy 6 cans of food for the week.... she's on oxygen and can't carry or do much. Management made her put 2 cans back!!!! she's not a hoarder, just an elderly woman on oxygen who can't eat much!!!! SHAME ON YOU WALGREENS!!!!!! SHAME ON MANAGEMENT!!!!
you should be ashamed of yourself not letting a elderly woman buy 3 extra cans of food your employee should be fired.
Not people friendly at all! I will avoid this particular store & all others in the future!
Hire more compassionate personnel.
