I have had nothing but issues with this store... I have been going back and worth with this store for 4 days now to get a prescription filled and today I spent 45 mins on hold to explain to them that I need them to fill a prescription even though my insurance will not cover and I would pick it up same day because I’m now out of it and need it... I was told no problem it will be ready in 90 minutes... I get to the pharmacy 2-3 hrs later and after standing in line for over 30 mins I’m told “your insurance wouldn’t cover it” I ... read more

This pharmacy is the worst...
The pharmacy is terrible. Inconsistent in their procedures and how they help customers. I waited over an hour at the drive thru because one guy said that you have to go to the end of the line if cars are behind you and then the next gal decided each subsequent car can wait to fill their prescription. After confronting her, she claimed that all 4 cars in front of me, argued with her and so she couldn't get them to move. Terrible customer service. If you can avoid them, do so.
I recently had to move to Walgreens from CVS because of health insurance. I have gone through the pharmacy drive thru twice. Both times the wait was horrible. Yesterday, I spent over 30 minutes in line. The young man who was working the window was nice, but he and his cohorts-workers looked like deers in the headlights. Unacceptable. For them and for me.
This is my very fave Walgreens. Everyone is so friendly and the pharmacy is always very helpful to get you taken care of. Wish I didn't have to change but we closed our north Dallas office.
