I normally have a high tolerance for daily frustrations, but this was different. After ordering a refill of a prescription online, I was notified there was an insurance delay, “no action needed”. I thought it strange because my insurance wasn’t new and the doctor just called in a new prescription. I called one week later after the status didn’t change. Unbelievably slow service in all aspects from the drive thru to in store.
Worst experience by pharmacy staff I have ever had!!! Was told computer system is down could not get my prescription if I wanted I could pay full price then submit papers to my insurance. Or wait more time for there system to get fixed! NEVER visiting this location again ever!!!! Then I decided to another Walgreens in the area and their system was up and not issues with them filling my prescription and getting my copay info.
The pharmacy staff at this place is beyond incompetent and I think I’m just going to stop using Walgreens completely. I placed a request for my prescription weeks in advance and told the pharmacist the company was having back order issues so it needed to be called in ASAP. Well of course he doesn’t actually do that so they gave me 5 pills that they had in stock. Now a week later they are telling me it will be a month to get the rest. Way to go Walgreens - top speed at filling my script today and I LOVE the Message board showing the status and I received a text message when the script was ready! Love the updates you are implementing! It's all about the customer and making it easier and faster to shop. Thank you!!!
