Average doctor for back pain, at best. Can solve very specific issues with injections, but not good at solving complex problems. Would not go back and would not recommend, there are many better ones out there who can identify root cause of issue
Dr Walega impresses me with his knowledge and understanding as well as with his patience. My condition is very complicated, but Dr Walega is doing his very best to help me with my chronic pain. I would recommend this doctor to anyone who suffers from chronic pain.
I have been with dr. Walega for over 10 years. He has taken care of me and my health problems for a long time. Great pain management dr. I will never change.
My experience with Dr. Walega has been excellent. He is a caring physician with excellent people skills. He trains fellows and directs them with precision when doing procedures. I'm impressed that while he has a very busy practice, he also participates in clinical studies aimed at pain reduction with new techniques and medications.
