ok for the money my friend made me get my hair cut here becuase she was getting it done here for a wedding. i felt like they charged too much for getting a mere trim. what they dont tell you is that (well at least when I went) they charge you an additional price for shampoo and hairdry. for heavens sake i could have gotton those for several pennies instead of an additional $10!
Hollywood highlights I recently visited Waldo's for the first time after being highly recommended to Christine. My hair has never looked better. She does a highlighting technique without foils called baliage that looks amazing! The salon was very busy when I was there and it has an upbeat atmosphere. Highly recommend!
Waldo's is Great! I have been a faithful client at Waldo's for many, many years. I had always had problems with color coverage when going to another well-known company with several salons in Columbus. Not at Waldo's! Chris was my favorite stylist. Love Waldo's! Christine has been cutting and coloring my hair for over 2 years now. I have not been disappointed! Love the new ammonia free color she uses. My hair doesn't have that "just colored smell", my scalp doesn't burn and it looks so natural. I've gotten many compliments! Much cheaper than some of the big name salons around town and more personable too!

Unique cuts I've gone to Waldos for the past couple years. Their people have a lot of talent, but make sure to be specific about what you want. I've found that their interest in being trendy can sometimes lead them away from giving you exactly the cut you asked for. Parking is also a terrible pain, especially if you go during peak hours (i.e. on the way home from work, the most convenient time for me to get a cut). Ellen L. If you have not visited Waldo's on High, you are missing a real treat. Trent, my hairstylist is excellent in both color and cut. I have always been completely satisfied. The salon is easy to get to and there is so much to see in the Short North; restaurants, and shops so call them now and make an appointment. You won't be sorry. Every one of the stylists are excellent!!!
happy hair days I have been going to Waldo's for a few years and have always had a great experience. Most recently they did my hair and makeup for a wedding and definitely exceeded my expectations. The staff is professional and welcoming. FYI..There is a $3 paid parking lot in the alley which makes it easy to park.
okay for the price you pay--bad parking i went here for a quick trim. i didnt want to go to some place that was going to charge and arm and leg so i went here off high. first of all, horrible parking. anything on high st really is. there was some spots in the back but obviously they were taken. the cut was ok, but when comared to a bigger salon it wasnt that great. the person was a kid so i felt bad not tipping well and the total amt was higher than i thought. they are definately fast though, maybe because i asked for a trim... read more
