Fining stores for not opening on Thanksgiving Day? Will you also fine your CEO and management staff if they do not work on Thanksgiving? You should be ashamed.
Forcing businesses to open on Thanksgiving is horrible. The holiday should be about family, and if stores have to be open, it should be by their own choice. The mall fining stores who want to stay closed is preposterous. I hope there is enough public backlash that you will think twice to do this.

I will not be shopping at your mall this holiday season. We live in a democracy and it is the store owners right to choose if they want to open on Thanksgiving.
Very poor to decision to fine businesses for not opening on Thanksgiving. Shows that management is only there for money. How about you value the holiday and maybe people will see that and you would make even more customers? Stop being greedy and let the ones who want to be closed stay closed!
Businesses that would like to give time off to employees to spend with their family are penalized. This anti-family stance is unacceptable
