I've seen him 2 times in the 5 visits I've had at Arthritis Specialty:1. He diagnosed everyone with RA, but makes you jump through hoops to 'prove' it... But isn't proving anything.2. His accent is either not real or he can make an American accent when talking with other providers.3. No interpersonal skills or abilities. Speaks to people like they're less than dogs.Find an immunologist or another pain and spine specialist rather than this bafoon.

Whenever you work with a specialist you can almost always expect them to be a bit strange, over smart and under available in social skills. Maybe that is the price you pay for their big brains to remember all the specialty information. I just am not sure he was as thorough as I had hoped for with my unique health concerns.

Always a professional he speaks with a slight accent, however has always spent time with me & takes all necessary tests & follows up with the best treatments available for me ! I’ve found his staff always concerned & informative … we are fortunate to have him in our community ! I’ve been a patient of Arthritis Specialty Center for many years !! Totally satisfied !

Don’t go here. I saw Dr Walaliyadda concerning a diagnosis of RA I also have moderate osteoporosis. He was very rude and abrupt. Demanding I should receive IV infusions of a osteoporosis drug. I explained to him under no circumstances could I receive this type of treatment due to many jaw surgeries and metal in my jaw joints. He then asked who told me this I stated to him an adjunct professor at Kansas City University head of oral surgery and also the head surgeon of facial trauma at Truman Medical Center. Do not go to him! I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis almost 2 years ago by Dr. Walaliyadda and started on Hydroxychloroquine. This was told to me after a whole 5 minutes with him. At my follow up appointments every 2 months I voiced concern that I did not feel any better and instead of digging deeper they just added to my list of medications. called for apptmt. 1st question was about my insurance. wouldn't see MD until 3rd apptmt, earliest. have to have xrays and blood work. (i don't have arthritis but autoimmune. no need for xrays. want them anyway.) they are into making money and have no consideration for client's needs. i won't be seeing this dr.

Gave me what turned out to be an incorrect diagnosis of psoriatic arthritis. U of U couldn’t believe I had been given this diagnosis and had been on some very strong medications that just made me sick for about a year. Worst part was I had questions about the Dx from the beginning due to my dermatologist and Dr Walliyada would literally walk out of the room instead of answering them. I finally went elsewhere and got an accurate diagnosis after much pain and expense. Do NOT go here.
