I am new to the area and chose Wake Med on a neighbor’s recommendation. I am extremely happy with Dr. Jessica Heestand, my primary care physician. She is caring, knowledge, and willing to listen to any and all concerns. The office staff is efficient and polite and Dr. Heestand’s nurse was delightful. If you can call going to the doctor a wonderful experience, then this was one!

I am so pleased with Dr. Meier and the staff at Wake Internal Medicine. I have been a patient at the Durant Rd location now for 10 years and have received excellent care. I drive from Wilmington to see Dr. Meier for the consistency and careful attention to my medical needs. I feel I am truly a patient, a person not a number, any time I am there. Thanks for caring!

Dr. Heestand is great! She is always willing to take the time to discuss any problems and practices preventive medicine. Wake Internal Medicine is a great practice because you can get any kind of testing done right there in one facility. My husband and I have been patients there for many years.
