I've had such a good impression of the doctors and staff at Wake Internal Medicine every time I've been there. Dr. Monteiro and Dr. Flescher are very kind and considerate, and they take plenty of time to answer my questions and to investigate any symptoms I'm having. I highly recommend them.

Dr. Monteiro is a wonderful doctor. He is a very carrying and he never rushes through your appointment. His nursing staff is excellent and the office staff is pleasant from arrival to checkout.

Doctors and nurses listen to your concerns and explain things to you to make sure you understand. Wait times are short and while I know they are busy I never feel as though they rush me through.
I have been at WIM for almost 8 years. The entire staff is professional and attentive. Angie, at the front, is friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. I have known her for years and it is comforting seeing a familiar face when I first walk in. I have seen Dr. Heestand for the past 4 years when Dr. Tyson retired. I really like Dr. Heestand and her nurse Assandra (?spelling). They are friendly, knowledgeable, attentive and caring and I feel they really listen to me.
