Took my son to the Waisman center about four years ago. Here they evaluated him with several different tests. They were patient with him and gave him plenty of chances to correctly answer. Here we received his diagnosis of autism and given handouts filled with resources and awareness. We were also reimbursed for our time and comute. I would recommend The Waisman Center.
So very, very not impressed! This is the first so called diagnostic center that was so lame, I couldnt believe that they can stay in business, at best and that they are not sued out of business, at worst!I talked my daughter into taking my grandson there. What a mistake!They took vitals, let him play for a few minutes, asked him a few questions, then diagnosed.They also treated us like lab rats, because they had a few students watch us through a one way.We wasted our time, money and hopes on this horrible excuse for a treatm... read more
They dont care about children there. Our son was blown off at the Wiasman Center. But thank goodness for our school system. Their IEP team took the time to find out what our son needed and he is doing great now, no thanks to the Waisman Center.I agree with the other review, dont put your hopes in these people. Their are just a business, no more.
