Mini, Budget Getaway At a reasonable price, under $90, this hotel is not beachfront but close to the Ala Wai Canal, of course walking distance to the wonderful Waikiki Beach. The rooms are average but include small refrigerator, blow dryer and balcony. Your stay includes free continental breakfast at poolside. They also provide a new fitness room with weights, treadmills and stretching mats. The pool is small and jacuzzi was lukewarm, but for a quick dip and to relax appropriate enough. Great Budget Hotel Sand Villa is nothing fancy but a nice hotel in the middle of Waikiki with a bar, restaurant, fitness center and decent pool. Staff was friendly. Best deal in Waikiki for the price. Would stay there again.
Decent for the price and service Waikiki Sand Villa is a cozy little hotel on the Ala Blvd. It is only 2 blocks from the beach and the price is decent for the rooms you stay in. There is a pool and lounge area but their bar is probably the most reasonable in Waikiki. The Sand Bar offers excellent Happy Hour specials as well as large TVs for you sports fanatics, a pool and dart area and free internet usage as long as you buy a drink.
