So six months or so ago I came here and had the blackened grouper it was fabulous. So for our tenth wedding anniversary we came back. What a mistake, the salad was old they used brown ice burg lettuce, my husbands fries were limp less than cooked. Also, we had fried shrimp it sat in Grease on the paper so the coating was falling off or was it because it was frozen shrimp? Not sure. one word: majorly overpriced. Most of the menu is over $15.00!!
This was my second time there and always everything was on point. No place in Gainesville can compare.
Not impressed...cheese grits were off the chain..raw oysters not too bad..blackened snapper pretty good. Compare to Red Lobster. Maybe I should have tried the boil buckets.

Had the shrimp etouffee and it was excellent. Friend had the seafood jambalaya and said it was decent. Only reason I took off a star is because we weren't full when we left and we both agreed we could order sth more-maybe we were really hungry or maybe the portions were small. Will definitely be back to try some of the other items- boom boom shrimp, snapper gillem to name a few!
