We went with a group of 10 people for a birthday party on Monday night. The service was great! The food was delicious. The mud bug fries, shrimp and grits, and boom boom shrimp were all yummy. We loved the atmosphere. Outside seating area was beautiful at night. Highly recommend!!
Have been here several times over the years & this last time was the worst. Our waitress was not very attentive to our table. We never got a refil on our drinks until we was asking for a to go box. Food was under seasoned & over priced for the quantity.
My reason for the 1 star my recent visit my $17 plus tax plate was poor so I’m rating them poor. Probably be awhile before I return.
It really didn't particularly care for anythi g about the restaurant. Our waitresses were awesome but, the food was as good as I've heard it was. I didn't lime the atmosphere of the restaurant either. Maybe we went on a bad day or something. My husband's catfish was mushy and my shrimp & chicken tenders tasted like they were frozen right out of the bag.
I ordered some club sandwich for lunch that had a burger Patty, pork, bacon & chicken strips. The pork was way under done. Salmonella waiting to happen. I pulled it off the sandwhich & showed it to the waitress. She offered to have it cooked all the way. By then I'm like no thanks. The cooks should know you can't undercook pork! The waitress was very nice & attentive & for that reason only I gave 3 stars.
Food was very good, service was also great. Kinda pricey $200 for 4 with appetizers, no deserts or wine. All in all great experience.
