Wahl’s Appliance was founded in 1981 when Dana Wahl began to rebuild broken appliances and sell them out of his home. Within a few years the business was growing fast and contracts with Maytag, Whirlpool and GE were arranged. Before long Wahl’s Appliance was a certified dealer and servicer of these brands and more.

Horrible Customer Service Do not waste your time trying to support a local business. Wahls Customer Service is horrible. Their staff is unknowledgeable as well as lazy. BE AWARE that when you have a Scheduled Service Call, the first appointment is actually so they can figure out what to do, and if they tell you they will be there between 3 and 5. Expect them to be there after 5, with no call form the store. Then it is up to you to get change your schedule so they can come back the next day to do their job. And don??t bother ... read more
Great Store! Recently bought appliances for my new house. I like all the new pieces and was very happy with the price. Two of the pieces were ding and dent and I saved quite a bit of money. The salespeople were very knowledgeable and the delivery guys were great. Will definitely shop here again.
BE WARY BE CAREFUL.. Ordered freezer from the floor (model displayed), they changed order model without checking with me. (It had a couple of features I didn't,t like, but husband didn't want to wait longer on this item) They also argued about damaged door on dishwasher that I ordered. It certainly wasn't damaged in the store. Also had water in hoses and smelled musty...preused???? Local Loyalty Betrayed! My husband and I recently purchased a washer/dryer set, mattress/box spring set and a queen frame from Wahls. At first we were quite pleased! Pleased with the fact that we bought local rather than from the larger "box" stores one is always warned about and also pleased about the service we received and the deal we thought we got. Not professional in anyway. Recently our refrigerator stopped working. We took it to Waals for repairs, but in the mean time purchased a new refrigerator from them. When we ask for delivery they told us although they were coming to our area the next day they couldn't put anymore items on the truck. but for $20 they would work it in. Naturally we paid the $20. Great deals We bought a brand new cabrio washer that was scratched and saved hundreds. I had to have the scratch pointed out to me it was that small. We also bought a dryer several years ago that was dented and it's been a great item for us. Now we need a new dryer to keep up with our super sized washer and Wahl's is the place to go. I highly recommend it.
So much better than Sears!!! The salespeople at Sears were so pushy, they didn't care about anything but my money. I went to Wahl's Appliance in Beloit and they helped me find the perfect refrigerator. I am so happy. Thanks Wahl's!
Wahl's Sold my Appliances out from Under Me When I bought a new house I needed appliances, so I went to Wahl's and bought brand new several different brands (in stock). A week later when I was ready for delivery, I found out they sold my appliances and was told they would need to order some others for me. They already had my $2,500 and I was not wanting to wait another week to ten days for them to order others, so I asked for my money back so I could go buy somewhere else. It all about the sell forget service Not happy with Wahls Appliance we bought a king size Williamsburge mattress from them in Aug 09. The mattress is is high in the middle and sags on both sides. I contacted Wahls will over a month ago about the problem and they said they would send someone out to check it on Monday between 9am and noon the following week.
