History Established in 1987. In 1964, Ronald Wagner opened Wagner Motor Sales in Boylston, Massachusetts. It started as a used car lot and then progressed to AMC. In 1980, Mr. Wagner was offered the chance to start a Mercedes-Benz franchise and then a few years down the road came BMW (1988), Audi (1994), and Jaguar (1998). 0 Star : My Experience I found that Wagner tends to be optimistic with their completion dates, but always seems to miss them by alot. Also, Wagner could do a better job at keeping customers updated. The whole process can take months, and during that time I have no idea how things are moving along. I understand that a big part of the delay issue is getting parts.
