The tech began repairs without my permission. The igniter on the gas furnace was remaining on and had finally stopped working and the unit required a new board. The bill was to be some $840 or more. I stopped work and paid the $350 charge for replacing the igniter and the brief diagnostic. I have obtained an OEM Board for $175 with shipping and will do the simple plug in install myself.
