My second Waffle House ever, and the first was 25 years ago, in NC or AL or something. I don't remember anything about that experience, but yesterday I was hungry and wanted a waffle, and there they were. I sat at the counter and watched the crew do their thing. They welcomed everyone who came in the door. I ate by myself but felt like I was at a hangout The waffle was simple but crisp, soft and delicious!
