It is a waffle house, everything was exactly as expected. Quick, polite service, everything was correct and there were no issues at all.
Brandon was professional, attentative and a team player, taking orders,delivering food, refilling ice, cups dishes etc putting washed dishes away while still checking on customers for coffee refills etc.Manager Kelley with one hand gloved the other occupied with orders,kept touching the plated food on the with her gloved hand after thumbing through receipt orders,(disgusting)...hovering,in the way of the cooks! So for years I have heard people brag about the waffle house...this was my first time ever coming to a waffle house and I'm not at all impressed. It's mediocre at best. IHOP is way better in my opinion. They had decent choices on their menu, but it was pretty much what you can get at other restaurants. I ordered one waffle and 2 pieces of sausage. The waffle tasted good...the sausage was Jimmy Dean. I asked for water and had a black particle floating in it. The one thing that really bothered me was this policy on their menu.... read more
