Will never not love waffalonia. Had this a lot when I was a student, and get it every time I’m back in Pittsburgh
Ordered the Charleroi and the waffle was not fully cooked in the center, though the fruit and Nutella were tasty. Decor and vibe were odd- though it’s been here for a long time and is meant to be styled after a subway station, it feels barren and like it just opened. The ceiling around the counter area is stained and disgusting, like there was a fire and it was never cleaned. These waffles are truly something else! You can't call yourself a Pittsburgher until you've been here at least once. BE PREPARED: They're INSANELY sweet, and they're a surprising amount of food! I would highly recommend getting one with ice cream! It's a great combo.
