Dr. Wafa Abbud is the first doctor in my lifetime I truly trust. Her willingness to listen and give you not only professional, but the best advice is not replaceable by any means. I am forever thankful for being recommended such a wonderful doctor.
I’ve been diagnosed with 2 autoimmune disorders and just had surgery to remove thyroid nodules…after being ignored and dismissed for the last three years Dr Abbud has come to the conclusion that it’s my mental health & referred me to a psychiatrist….& told me to find a new doctor!! This is medical gaslighting!!! I’ve NEVER felt so mistreated by a doctor in my life!!! If you want to be healthy find a doctor that WANTS to help you bc Dr Abbud does not care.
When I lost both of my parents and the grandma who raised me I drove an hour and a half to get a refill on my anti depressants before leaving the country (they wouldn’t give me an appointment in time which is why I missed two of the 3 deaths by the way) I show up to my appt and they turn me away because of insurance I offer to pay cash they say no and refuse to send a refill. ****WARNING STAY AWAY**** Incompetence with a total disregard for patient care. The staff seemed more interested in their phones than in actually assisting patients. After waiting over an hour passed my time I was finally told there was a problem with my insurance and they wouldn't even let me pay cash after telling me I had to schedule an appointment to get a new prescription for my chronic medication. I like Dr. Abbud and have been her patient for many years. However, it takes so long to get Rxs refilled. I ran out and am going through a rough withdrawal of a medication now because this process takes so long between the office and my insurance. I miss being able to call and talk to a live person who would promptly get a refill submitted. This has taken five days so far and no end in sight.
