I understand that finding housing is difficult, but please be cautious with Waena Apartments. Our experience was extremely negative. Be sure to thoroughly document the condition of your unit at move-in and move-out. Take detailed photos and videos. Extremely shady practices from the management team. Requested my 500 dollar hold fee to be returned within 48 hours as per their policy and they refused to pay it back. The pictures of the place are completely misleading. It’s gated but the gate literally never works per tenants so it’s not really very secure. Stay away from these crooks.
Unless the problem is somehow fixed within the time it takes for this review to gain recognition, avoid living near the playground. There seems to be some game between the kids where they’ll screech out the letter “E”. At the top of their lungs. Every negative comments are true. Not mentioned is that it’s a cockroach haven.
Avoid this place at all costs. Living here was a literal nightmare. Everything is constantly breaking—front gate, gate to parking lot, elevator. How is it even legal to have a non-working elevator with so many disabled people living there? Speaking of parking, the parking is horrible. If you have more than one car? Good luck!
