This place is so problematic I’m not sure where to start. Okay, cleanliness is a BIG problem at this place. Front door, tables, floors and what could see of the kitchen/food prep area ALL DISGUSTINGLY FILTHY. I was trying to buy an unhoused person some food and the staff were very disrespectful to the guy and totally indifferent and rude toward me. Great offerings for fast food and plenty of healthy vegetables; They even gave me picked carrots &peppers. . This location is superior than the other one down the street on western. I do not advise their sauces since they are loaded with preservatives and HFCS. That’s a corporate issue. I carry siracha sauce in car to avoid the corporate poisoning.

I’m writing this review on behalf of my elderly mother, who has been a loyal customer at Waba on Wilshire and Western, visiting several times a week. However, after her experience on Monday, 5/19/2025, at 11:30 AM, she has decided she will never return. During her visit, she witnessed a man returning his chicken plate because he wanted steak instead.
