I spent many years seeing Dr. Kilgore and received no help during the time I had seen him. I wanted a 2nd opinion and was told that I would no longer be able to receive services at the facility ever, won’t receive help if I need it despite the 3-4 years and 1000s I spent there. He spent most of the visits minimizing my pain and had vocalized to me how “minor” it was. I felt shamed. I wasn’t getting help. I was on the brink of losing my job because I was losing blood with “no source that could be found” despite a colonoscopy.... read more
I had my colonoscopy scheduled 3 months in advance and 2 business days before my procedure was to take place I was contacted by his office to inform me that the anesthesiologist that worked for or with Dr. Kilgore stated that he want to perform my procedure in a hospital due to my medical (heart) condition. Looking for a new gastro specialist, as I was very unimpressed with my current one. Dr. Kilgore was highly regarded. He refused to see me despite two referrals. Not sure why. Maybe he's ready to retire. Good luck with him, if he agrees to see you.
Dr. Kilgore is a very attentive doctor. He takes the time to review and explain everything to ensure all questions are addressed and understood. He also has a great sense of humor!
Wasn't even able to get in. His office refused the referral from the primary Dr. Disappointing at best! If he's supposed to be the best, then why can't he get people in who need him?
I had colon.problems for years and Thankfully I found Dr. KillGore. I worked in the medical field and went through 3 doctors before I found him.
A few weeks ago I had an upper GI done. I had a Permanent plate in my mouth. When I felt it my perm plate was broke off right before procedure. It was not lose. I'm having a tough time getting a call back in regards to Dr Kilgore BREAKING my plate. I can't eat much because the plates missing I
Felt I was in extremely good hands and all the staff attentive. Appreciated the care and expertise!
Dr. Kilgore and his patient care staff were kind, courteous, and professional. They had calming demeanors and paid attention to specific patient care details. Jamie, the recovery nurse, was especially cheerful and helpful with her clear suggestions for at-home care after my colonoscopy. She prescribed a "day of rest."
