I just called to schedule an appointment with an endocrinologist. I was on hold for 45 minutes. I was told by the lady that answered the phone that the Endocrinologist in this practice does not diagnose patients they only treat a previous diagnosis from referral. I’m very confused about that and decided to mark this endocrinologist off my list.
So far the only people I've got to deal with was the front office, and that first impression is already gone. I get they are short handed, but the back in forth of misinformation & attitude have definitely made me not looking forward to this being a regular dr to see. I've been driving a hour & a half away to another Endo, but this one was recommended & closer by the hospital.
Update: 5 years later and still no problems. : I don’t know what these other reviews are talking about. I just got back from my first visit and have no complaints. The staff, nurse practitioner, and the doctor were all great. No long wait, everything was clean, everyone was kind and attentive. I’ve had nothing but wonderful interactions with everyone from the first time I ever called the office to leaving after my appointment today.
