I took my 2009 Toyota Corolla to W&B last week to get a diagnosis on a cold start rattle sound my car would make, and I ‘believe’ the technican I saw was Andrew if I’m correct. We both agreed that my issue is probably being caused by the timing chain, which makes sense as my vehicle is old. Andrew suggested an oil change with thinner oil to help lubricate my parts more, as a timing chain replacement is very expensive- and I’m a post-secondary student working part time so money is tight for me regardless.
