I ordered plants in April and they said they would ship May 8 and nothing. Contacted them again and they said May 15 and nothing. Contacted them again now they are not returning my e-mails. I could have bought these plants locally and cheaper but was curious about Burpee. We have a very short growing season so I keep a small greenhouse. I could have grown these plants by now. When I do get them they are not going to have time to mature. So don't waste your money I certainly wont be ordering from them again.
Received my 9 plants, Tomatoes, pepper & Herbs. weel packed, not dry. Awesome looking Plant. healthy!! Thank You. Wish prices were a wee bit lower. MN senior
purchased strawberry plants 2 months ahead of schedule. They were supposed to ship last week yet still have not received them. Just like the other reviews I have read now know to go elsewhere. The seeds I purchased 2 months ago came on schedule at least. But losing time on growing these plants considering last week they said my status was the plants were picked and awaiting tracking info but alas still same status a week later.
Product are fine. Customer service disappoints. Ordered several roses and noticed the price of one of them dropped 60% less than a week later. Contacted customer service to see if they would honor the price drop from my original purchase and was told they do not do this. You'd think a company of this size and caliber would be willing to refund a little money to ensure repeat business. Shame... will take my business elsewhere.
Very disappointed in Burpee quality of plants. Last year after ordering a plant that arrived dead, I contacted Burpee who stated they would send a new plant. Never arrived!! I should have never ordered this year but I did. Once again the quality of plant, that will likely not survive is a disappointment. I am a mastergardener, so I'm familiar with plants. I have now learned my lesson, do not order from Burpee!!! Respectfully, Renee Donner
Best resources for every level of gardener and every type of gardening! I can always count on my Burpee seeds to thoroughly germinate and flourish. They give you everything need to be successful, a quality product and lots of information/instructions.
