After a bad experience at automatology LTD. I can tell you that Dr Assam at VRA is the best I've ever experienced he gave me hope and cared this is the eye doctor to go to in all of South Dakota. Based on my bad experience this is a gem all his staff are amazing.
Doctor Assam is very patient and understanding! I went to an appointment to have a second opinion after having a poor experience at a different clinic . He took his time and explained treatment procedures. He gave me homework to review in my leisure time, to read up on my diagnosis. The small clinic feel is perfect for individual attention and for a great experience!
Dr. Assam and his staff were absolutely great. Before my appointment, they were very informative on the phone, answering my questions about insurance, etc. When I arrived to my appointment, the staff guided me through the paperwork and were a real pleasure to work with. Dr. Assam's confidence and professionalism was comforting, and he was spot-on with advice and my diagnosis. I'm very impressed with the team at VRA.
Dr. Assam is one of the most talented ophthalmologists and retina specialists I’ve ever met. His attention to detail and genuine dedication to his patients’ vision and well-being truly set him apart. He takes time to explain everything clearly, listens to concerns, and makes sure you feel comfortable and cared for throughout your treatment. If you need expert eye care, especially for retinal conditions, I highly recommend Dr. Assam.
