I’m so disappointed with this dealership for the amount of money spent on theses vehicles. This the second time I have taken my wife’s Volvo X-60 for service and both times I had to wait all day for it to be done. The second time was on the 14th of August and again waited all day to find out tire and wheel was damaged while on there care. I also had to wait for a couple of hours for a loaner since we live in Brownsville. My car has been in the shop for 3 months (3 months where I have to continue giving payments while I do not have a vehicle because they don't have any vehicles to lend out). In this time I have received no calls with updates! I have had to go in person if I want an update because there is no staff answering phones and apparently no mechanics able to work on vehicles either! This is extremely upsetting as I am wasting money on a vehicle that I DO NOT DRIVE and I cannot get a call through to Volvo Edinburg for the life of me!
7/9/25: I have been trying to contact your service department since Monday, and it is now Wednesday, July 9, 2025. On Monday, I was told my information would be passed on and someone would contact me, but no one ever did. The exact same scenario unfolded on Tuesday; I spoke with Evelyn, who assured me someone would get back to me, but again, I received no call. Volvo, they are very good to sell cars, but the service is horrible, you try to call to get updates on your repair vehicle and never answer, leave a voicemail and never get a call back even the operator or the sells department will take the message and will never get and update, to pay a high price for a luxury vehicle they provide a cheap service, this is my first and last Volvo.
The Volvo of Edinburg deserves less than the one star on this review. This was the WORST experience - no communication from the service department and the staff looks like they don't care. I left my vehicle for a software update but was told that they couldn't figure out what was wrong after it had been there all day. I took the car back (again) for an early 8am appointment at the beginning of the week for the same issue, hoping there would be a resolution.
