Dr. Volas-Redd has been treating me for a rare type of brain cancer for the past one year or more. Not sure why we were recommended to Dr. Volas-Redd or how she is an expert in brain tumors. First visit did not go well. She seemed very rushed, busy and not interested in my mom's Dx. My mom had concerns and questions surrounding the treatments. She brought this up to the nurse since Dr. Volas-Redd rushed out of the room. Very disappointed in her communication skills. Never new where we stood with the progress of the disease. I would not recommend her.
Dr. Volas-Redd has treated me twice in 8 years for lung cancer and I am now in remission in October 2024. She is a warm and kind person who will sit down with you to discuss your status quo and give you your options. She and her team have been wonderful to work with and I will miss them when my monthly immuno therapy treatments are over. She is on the forefront of up and coming procedures for cancer and is pro active in the application of new treatments.

Never could see the doctor. Spent months trying to get through the red tape while I progressively get worse. Maybe the doctor is good but after two months of trying, I’ll never know. Looking for a competent physician now. An incompetent staff is life-threatening to a cancer patient
Too busy, lost in the shuffle. Won't stop and listen to you or explain anything adequately. Rushed. Poor communication between staff. Nurse triage line takes 2-3 days to receive a call back, concerns are not taken seriously. She ignored results of a PET scan that showed hepatic metastatic disease for four months and hem-hawed around with medications that she knew weren't going to work.
