The price and location are good, but it always smells like smoke, people don't pick up after their dogs, you'll hear someone screaming at any time of day, and you'll have to evacuate the place at least twice a month because of the fire alarm going off even at 3am. There are so many cockroaches that it's embarrassing when you have guests. If you're on a tight budget, this is the place for you. Me, as soon as my contract ends, I'll be gone :).
The cons out weigh the pros. The property manager is nice but that will only get you so far. They have sprayed my units countless of times and despite keeping it clean always has roaches i come home every day with my can of raid and go to town. When the place isn't flooded it's on fire. Pipes have burst and flooded the hallway twice in the past couple months, it’s infested with roaches, stinks of cigarette smoke, there’s no sound proofing whatsoever, the fire alarm goes off frequently, and it’s tiny even for a hotel room. It’s being “renovated” so expect to have your day interrupted constantly by people needing to come into your apartment or your water or power being turned off. New security systems on the property make living here feel much more safe. The new management company has been much more helpful
We haven’t had locks on our building door for months despite rent prices being increased. Management has done nothing about people leaving side doors propped open. It’s gotten to the point where there has now been a used needle left on the stairs in one of the stairwells. Please fix the doors I shouldn’t have to leave a review like this in order for the issues here to be fixed
