I took my 10 year old daughter to get a COVID test at North West Medical group when her school demanded she get tested because another student in her class had tested positive. They administered her 2 test, one with immediate results, and a second that had to be sent to a lab and takes 2 days to get the results. The first time we had met dr.Hernandez our baby was about 5 days old.She was not welcoming and seemed more interested in making us feel like we knew nothing rather than helping out with our questions.This was our first child and we were obviously new parents,so we didn’t know a simple question of asking how often to cut their nails would get such a snarky answer and an eye roll.I thought maybe I’m just hormonal and took it wrong.No.Fast forward to the next couple checks ups where she was also rude and accusing.We had also br... read more

Dr. Hernandez is always helpful and never rushes while treating our children. It is very easy to schedule an appointment with her office and the ladies that work the front desk are always and have always been accommodating to our family. We have four children and feel like we are here often.

Dr Hernandez is very thorough! She does not rush patients and will answer any questions you have about your child. She is very pro-active in her treatments without being an alarmist. Additionally, she addresses her young patients personally and makes them feel comfortable. All three of our children gladly make the hour long drive to see Dr. Hernandez.

My husband recently had a very bad experience there while bringing our 15 month old in for an appointment. He was refused service for being 6 minutes late. This office does not seem to understand that when dealing with a toddler delays can occur. It's not easy to take off work for a doctors appointment and this was especially upsetting due to traveling all the way from Madera to be turned around. I believe this office is racist and that played a role in how my husband and daughter were treated.
