UPDATE your hours! PLEASE! Traveled 30mins to eat here just to show up and you guys had moved! Put up papers or change your hours ON GOOGLE! Sucks you guys closed wish yall didn't but it was good while it lasted. To those who are wanting to eat here you CANT they're shut down fully now.
I stopped in earlier today, on 5/21/25. I was told that they were closed, under construction, and will re-open sometime in July.
Food was good. Owner was nice. It is permanently closed down now tho ! I know the owners. So it's a fact. Jack.
I'm a vegetarian and ordered a chile relleno and cheese enchilada with rice and beans - normal fare for whenever I try a new Mexican restaurant. It was our 1st time there. It was a dark environment. Waiters seemed very busy but we were able to flag someone down. Here's my issue: There was something in my food that didn't belong there but in the dark I couldn't figure out what it was so I moved it aside. We really enjoyed the 'real' Mexican food there as opposed to most Mexican restaurants that serve 'American' Mexican food. Sadly, Viva Mercado is now permanently closed.
