1st of the RN Shelly DiCock is the "Team Leader" was suppose to come once a week to check on my Mom, she did a few times. After that, she was ALWAYS TOO BUSY. She is very Neglectful and Rude, won't hesitate to argue with the Family. The only ones doing their job correctly are Gloria B. and James. I give her a high recommendation for being Courteous, Compassionate, Very Attentive. However, my Mom is withering away in front of their eyes and they act as if they don't see it. The Lord answered our prayers in a time of need and He answered with Vitas. The nurses, social workers, and staff were so caring and compassionate. They were all truly a light in our time of darkness. Our father, Jesus Picazo, received such great care in his short time at Vitas inpatient unit. We will always be grateful for Vitas💜

While being here for the hard experience of letting my brother go, I was able to do so with such care. The nurses treated each of us as though we were THEIR family member. They showed such grace and respect for my brother I am brought to tears. No matter the hour someone was there at a moments notice. Questions were answered within a heartbeat. After John left this world VITAS was still there for us.
