My Dad received amazing and compassionate care from VITAS Healthcare for approx 6 months before passing. We felt blessed to have RN Ana and Caregiver Reslaine. They were so caring, professional, and went above and beyond consistently. VITAS was there for us every step of the way no matter what day/time we called, answered every concern, and handled every need. 100% recommend VITAS Healthcare.

I waited 2 months to write this because I wanted to make sure my emotions weren’t driving this negative review. That said, I’m horrified by the treatment that Vitas gave my father. Especially in the last week of his life. In short, they were no help and there were days, after they changed his status to eminent, that the nurses didn’t even bother to show up nor did they communicate with us that they wouldn’t be coming. I was very pleased with the palliative and hospice care my dad received in his last few months. I had excellent communication from the visiting nurses, clergy and social workers. My dad liked everyone who came to take care of him, especially Chaplain Jim. During his last few days, the hospice team made sure my dad was comfortable and not in pain and for that I will be forever grateful.

I called there today to have some equipment picked up of my mother’s and the girl that answered the phone. Gigi was very rude and started laughing after I told her that I had Equipment here that belong to Vito and it was making me depressed after my mother passed they should fire her immediately so much for compassion

I am surprised to see some of the negative reviews. I have so many emotions writing this, I don't know if I can be brief. My father, who lived with me, was under Vitas care for about a year. He had many ups & downs and they were always there to guide & assist me. I had a nurse visit at least once or twice a week and more when necessary, They became like family.
