The experience we're having with this company in our mom time of transition has been horrible. The nurses never do what they say and the CNAs never come to help with anything in a timely manner. This whole experience has been horrific and I'll never recommend them to anyone

Unfortunately most people are unfamiliar with the dying process, and few have ever actually witnessed someone dying. Fear of the unknown may hinder or even paralyze a person’s efforts to care for an ill family member. I was grateful for the high quality care the VITAS Healthcare, Hospice Personnel provided my 97 year old Grandmother. There effort in keeping her comfortable for the last 2 months, until she fell asleep to death on August 23, will never be forgotten. Sadly, I have to agree with Charlene. My family member arrived home to similar issues and no nurse! Lots of empty promises were made in the hospital that were rescinded once he was home! Changes, like no longer sending a nurse, were communicated at very short notice. like the day of! The bed was old and looked like something from the 60s! Every piece of equipment was loud!
