What a wonderful group of people. I have needed them twice and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again. Such caring, compassionate, and comforting support to both the patient and the family is hard to find. I recommend them with absolute confidence.
Vitas hospice was truly a godsend when we needed them most. For 6 months they attended to my father when needed, but in the last few weeks of his life they really helped us navigate the system. I highly recommend them. Hospice isn't just for when your loved one is in the last days of their life, it's the support you need even before that.
The support I received to care for my sister from nurses and staff was excellent. They were the most caring and incredible group of people. Not only were they there for my sister, they have been there for me also.
The Vitas care team that provided care during my husband's illness was empathetic, professional and supportive. Vitas handled all of our needs expeditiously. They helped me cope during a very difficult time. The nurse Antonia was a calming influence. Vitas also made this memory bear from my husband's shirt. This truly blessed my heart.
