At 3:37 am on February 20th 2026 my grandmother took her last breath. That experience was so peaceful for our family all because of this company's amazing staff! My husband and I use Vitas services. We have Sam the nurse tht we think is great and helps us a lot. We have Emily the aide who is a treasure. My husband particularly doesnt like anyone, we can have a room full of people and he wont talk to them but if Emily comes with her big smile now my husband has smiles and she sits on the floor and talks to him and he misses her when shes not here. She provides showers for him and helps so much and insists on helping me with my chores. I would recommend her 100%.
What a wonderful group of people. I have needed them twice and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again. Such caring, compassionate, and comforting support to both the patient and the family is hard to find. I recommend them with absolute confidence.
Vitas hospice was truly a godsend when we needed them most. For 6 months they attended to my father when needed, but in the last few weeks of his life they really helped us navigate the system. I highly recommend them. Hospice isn't just for when your loved one is in the last days of their life, it's the support you need even before that.
